It's too bad about K-On College. Not sure the manga was even any worse than original K-On manga, but people probably had 'as good as the anime' expectations. I feel like it could've worked.

It was just more of the same. it came out worse due to comparisons to highschool which introduced two new characters and explored azusa taking over the club
