So I just learned that Jukki Hanada, series composer on this show, was also the series composer on Sound! Euphonium, Bloom Into You, Nichijou, and A Place Further Than The Universe, among a whole host of other prolific shows. That is a loving incredible portfolio.

To be fair, there's a fair amount of trash on there too, lol. Guy's very prolific, last time I checked. But yeah, he's got some real winners under his belt.

Hitoribocchi is the slice of life comedy 4koma that seems like it's not progressing a storyline but is actually constantly doing so. It's also genuinely really funny and well written, all the characters despite being general komi-san-esque "this is my gimmick, I exist for it" types evolve in their own ways as the series goes along and I am very glad the adaptation is apparently really good so far. I don't watch very much anime lately but I may have to make time to see this adaptation if it really does add to the greatness of the 4koma.
