I don't know if there's any team in the league that's been as hot as Colorado recently, they've really elevated their game in the last month to 6 weeks. I think there's alot of upset potential on both sides of the bracket. Let me be the first to call Columbus beating Tampa in the opening round.. I think you could probably argue that the Blue Jackets are the best roster of all time to end up as an 8 seed.

Jackets won seven of their last eight and were dominant in most of them, including wins against Montreal and Nashville. The top six are clicking and Bob has played some of his best hockey during the stretch. The other side of things is that Tampa is a juggernaut who would probably beat whoever their first round opponent was. So, no expectations, no disappointments. Surprise me.

Pens probably only going as far as Murray and Johnson let them. The PK has been questionable and the PP has been a liability as well. The Isles have a ton of speed and play pretty well as a unit. Think it comes down to if Pittsburgh can shatter the goaltending confidence or Murray goes full pumpkin.

Saw the Blues first game was at 7 PM and thought for a brief second the NHL gave them some normal rear end scheduling without paying deference to the east coast. Whoops, they got two 8:30 local start times in the next three games and the only reason the third isn't at the same time is because it's on a Sunday.
