Westeros is definitely bigger than actual Britain but no way is it the size of South America. GRRM is bad with scale. And you can't really call it a fault of the show since they're just as vague about geographical size as they are about the passage of time. Anyways, the characters moving around quickly didn't bother me in earlier seasons. Yara getting to Theon's location never seemed as implausible as all the complaints from book readers made it seem. Daenerys' flight does bother me, though if you assume fast dragons and the passage of a couple of days, it's mostly fine timeline wise, if not really convenient. What's really bad about it is Jon going up north with only a few guys when he's supposed to be one of the most important people in Westeros and also the Night King not just chucking his ice spears at them on their little island.

Dark Tower is being helmed by a Walking Dead showrunner and the people who made the awful film. At least you ASOIAF fans got several great seasons out of Game of Thrones, there will never be a good Dark Tower adaptation:(
