Having the political machinations between Doran and Ellaria was also important to establish why Dorne was so quiet and staying largely out of affairs. Also Ellaria murdering Myrcella is an important part of Cersei's arc; Joffrey's death was a clear consequence of his own tyranny but Myrcella was innocent and having her killed for someone else's crimes (and not even really that, Oberyn's death was really his own fault) pushes Cersei from trying to protect her children to resigning that they're all doomed. Porn warriors? Did they get more porn stars or what?

What weirds me out is that Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, and that one about a doctor that is the private doctor for a billionaire in Martha's Vineyard were all basically the same show on the same network at the same time.
