He is betrayed, and watches his family killed in front of him, while the murderers laugh. He runs away to the north, and is captured by the magic fairy people. They turn him in to a weapon, but what they don't know - he hates humanity more than they ever could. He hates everything. Bran feels just a touch of emotion; he can sympathize. LOL, just kidding, he's a bad zombie who smirks
