Played a bit yesterday, shut down for the night, woke up this morning, shortcut does nothing. Googled around, lots of people having same issue. Can't uninstall or reinstall the game. Reddit post detailing loving with permissions possible works but updated the post later saying it actually doesn't work. https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/grzjkz/na_pc_possible_fix_for_people_getting_nothing/ Literally unplayable, unironically.

I ignored the casino for my first couple of days then went in yesterday, cashed in all of my coin tickets to 1900 cc, then grinded up to 10k for the Jet Boots Camo. Blackjack definitely felt like the best payout over time, plus you get to hang out with other people playing anime blackjack. Mesetan shooter is fun, it's basically a shooting game combined with plinko from The Price is Right. You have to move your turret with A and D to catch coins and power ups, and avoid catching bombs. Don't shoot Mr. Umbra (was that his name?) the weird huge guy. He drops bombs. (Don't hit him if you see him during an Urgent Quest either, he gives you stuff if you just let him hit you.) Rappy slots is really cute but trying to grind 5 gold rappies AND hit a wild after takes forever. I got extremely bored trying to grind that out. The other slot game is also frustratingly slow. It can give you a huge payout or you can lose it all in a 50/50 guess. I didn't bother with roulette. Overall I'm happy I got the Jet Boots Camo. It has a cool special effect where coins spill out of everything you hit (unfortunately it doesn't actually give you more coins). Sort by rarity and sell everything up through 9* that you don't want to feed to your MAG. Then click the units tab and sort by rarity again. Sell everything up to 9* unless you wanna keep it for a different class, in which case lock the item. That is most of inventory management. Remember, you can hold shift to select things just by hovering in the sell screen. Sort by rarity with least rare at top, scroll down to the 9*, then hold shift and go up to the top of the list. Thanks for these tips, I didn't notice selling from storage nor did I know about shift scrolling to sell fast.

You can spend 25 star gems to get +1 tier in the mission pass. The mission pass also rewards 25 star gems at some tiers. Are you stockpiling star gems for something else? You can also get star gems from other achievements or w/e the missions are called. I got some for playing around with lookbooks the other day.

I decided to spend my Rising Weapon Badges on two pieces and I bought the third piece for a little under 3 million meseta.  These give a big chunk of HP and 9% to all resistances from the set. It feels like a hefty amount of survivability, but I have yet to try Ultimate Quests. I've been able to live through shots from everything I've encountered in Extremely Hard quests so far, though I am quick to cast Resta. For everyone who's not at end game, if you feel like you're getting one shot a lot, you can get the Sub / Weapon Barrier unit from Cofy immediately after creating a new character and talking to Afin.  .I sold this on my first character without realizing how good it was. Make three characters and pick up three of these, and you will have an extra 450 hp, plus 6% resistances to each element. You can enhance them to +10 for cheap as well. Grab a guts drink in the drop ship before your quest to add even more HP and you'll probably feel a lot less squishy. e: to put in perspective- here's my newly created alt's hp without the units on  with 3 Sub / Weapon Barriers equipped  with guts drink ZX (1200 meseta)  I'm not a math guy but that's a ton of HP! I've been farming the Amped VHAQs with my Alliance like this. We all have All Class launchers, either Sigma Bastad or Shooting Drive. When the burst comes we just park in a corner, jump up into the air, then start firing and never stop. Somehow I'm not bored of it.

Based on the amount of times the windows store has already hosed things up I'd wager it's only a matter of time before you have some sort of issue that requires a reinstall. May as well go through the tweaker first and get ahead of it.

They're so cheap I'd recommend just buying them all and trying them out. That forum thread doesn't show you the special effects, like the "leaf in autumn breeze" launcher explosions are fireworks, and all of them have an animated leafy aura when you use the weapon! Anyone cleared the new Challenge Quest yet? I've done two runs the last two evenings with my alliance and it's pretty brutal. We got about 85% clear both times and it took an hour. Really fun though, nice to have a challenge even if it's as hosed up as having to dodge an overleveled version of the fire bired from ultimate while fighting another boss. Also at one point I got put into one of those falspawn prisons a mile away from my team, and I was stuck in there with the giant beetle boss. Thankfully I had a self-res doll on me.

Presumably they can bring it back again but who knows when.

I can't give you an exact estimate. Hours and hours. I've been mashing skip through the whole story and sticking to casual boss fights to get them over with and I'm not done with episode 3 yet, though I only just started episode 3 today. Episode 1 in particular seems pretty sloggy.
