I looked into it and the specific context I was missing was they were talking to a Twitter executive and used the tweet as an example of "hateful" speech on Twitter. Yuck

So apparently all these years of gaming, rather than ruining my vision, has improved it. My eyesight in my left eye has gotten so much better since my last exam that my new glasses are barely gonna be anything for that eye. Both me and the doctor are baffled.
