When I first heard Cumbersome, I assumed it was a Pearl Jam song.

As a huge Weezer fan when I was a teen from their Blue and Pinkerton albums, I was totally disappointed with how soulless the Green album sounded and haven't had reason to go back to them since.

Just wanted to swing it back to EA Trax chat and point out EA's Road Rash 3D on the PS1 not only had like, four Sugar Ray songs (Mean Machine, Tap Twist Snap, the Club and I don't loving know) but was also Kid Rock's first real mainstream exposure.

And while Road Rash 3D basically sucked the N64 'port' developed by an entirely different company is absolute wonky video game magic in multiplayer, greatly enhanced by them actually stuffing most of the Playstation game's soundtrack (no Kid Rock because they took like two years and he was famous for real by that point) onto the cart in severely compressed 1 minute loop form. You think you've heard Mean Machine but have you heard just the chorus of Mean Machine on loop for several hours a day at 50kbps?

I adore the soundtrack to "Wipeout" and it will always make me feel happy and nostalgic every time I hear any track from it.

What's Up is a very love-it-or-hate-it kind of song. It's a fantastic beginner guitar song though, so I think a lot of people know how to play it, which makes me laugh.

What's with all these Chernobyl-hot takes?

- Seven Mary Three did Cumbersome, Water's Edge and Lucky, that's three decent songs, none are particularly annoying to hear nor were they overplayed.

- Trapped in the Closet is a troll/meme masterpiece, come on. I get if you can't separate the art from the artist but it had a midget with a big dick before GoT made it cool.

- Maybe the Beatles are bad if you hate the entirety of music as a concept. But I mean, they were a boy band who took a metric fuckton of drugs to evolve, Pokemon style, into a genre-spanning sensation. I don't have them on my personal playlist, but when I was forced to listen to all their albums I gotta admit there's catchy tunes on every last one of them.

Also the artist is a rapist and a pedophile who likely had actual teenagers trapped in his mansion, so you know.

As far as I know, R Kelly's intent for TitC was a pretty sincere artistic expression so I think it counts here regardless.

A song I thought was hilarious when I was like 10 but has no redeeming qualities 25 years later is She Don't Use Jelly by the Flaming Lips.
