Why was there a Ferris Bueller's Day Off TV show? Were there really people out there who wanted to explore the extended universe of Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

Does this take place before or after Matthew Broderick drove on the wrong side of the road and murdered those people?

It's like they filmed it intending to add a laugh track, then didn't add a laugh track.

This will confuse you more: the same year there was an Uncle Buck TV show, as well as a Parenthood one.

These are the 34 new shows all the major networks chose to debut in fall of 1990. Some are obviously classics, but most are, well, embarrassments.

There's a show about a white woman marrying a black man and the show is called "True Colors." It seems the year 1990 occurred around the year 1940 or so.

That's not even the real John Candy in the Uncle Buck show, it's a fake :argh:

Also

quote:

Buck, a slob who drinks and smokes. When Bob and Cindy die in a car accident, he is named as the guardian of Tia, Miles, and Maizy.
Nice premise for a comedy right there.

I remember that one!

There was a lot of social commentary on it, but I think every tv show in the 90's had some kind of duty to be part PSA.

Didn't he die around 1994?

Also, John Candy had a pretty cool saturday morning cartoon called, "Camp Candy".

I was in high school when this drat show came out. I only have one memory of watching Ferris Bueller TV show and it was at a friend's house. One of the characters called the other a "wenis" which is a cross between a wimp and penis?

Anyway, that's my 80s TV Story. I got lots of them.

I remember there was an ENORMOUS amount of pearl-clutching when the Uncle Buck show premiered as one of the little kid characters on the show told Uncle Buck "You suck". Like every major publication had a think-piece about "THE END OF DECENCY ON TELEVISION!!!1!!" This was further exacerbated by the premiere of the Simpsons.

That's so lazy to use the film footage with Lithgow and the movie cast and then cut to the poo poo TV actors right away

edit: WHY DID YOU MAKE ME FIND THIS

quote:

Kevin Peter Hall (May 9, 1955 – April 10, 1991) was an American actor best known for his roles as the title character in the first two films in the Predator franchise and the title character of Harry in the film and television series (bigfoot), Harry and the Hendersons. He also appeared in the television series Misfits of Science and 227, along with the film Without Warning. While working on the TV series Harry and the Hendersons, Hall announced that he had contracted HIV from a blood transfusion.[5] He died from AIDS-related pneumonia on April 10, 1991,[6] a month short of his 36th birthday.[6]
