But he did pretty much go 150 feet just to make that hit, and gliding for the last 30 feet doesn't quite cancel out skating as hard as he could for the first 120. So it was borderline. But hot drat did it rule. Perron definitely owes Thomas a beer or three (next time they're in Canada, since Thomas isn't 21).

It's fine, Sammy Blais will probably do something similar and hopefully Bruins fans won't be crying about a shoulder-to-shoulder hit like Sharks fans did.
