The quicksilver does not seem to respond to song (or any form of wheedling, really) at all. Exposing quicksilver to sunlight without simply freeing it to the sky and immediately losing all practical sight of it proves difficult. You eventually talk one of the bystander sorts into aiding you in a setup wherein you pour some into the bowl from below using the ladle. It seems that it disregards sunlight as well.

A miniature tower begins rising from the earth in the middle of the foundation. It begins reverting any time you stop singing.

Creating a rough stone vessel to hold your blood is easy, as is letting blood into it until you begin to feel faint. You do not appear to gain or regain anything by drinking of the blood.

You roll a lock of hair across the stone. Nothing seems to happen. Things left in a sang hole when you stop singing are engulfed when it closes and recovered in roughly the same state when you open a new one in the same place.

Kevin�s sung tower grows larger when you join. It still begins to recede the moment either of you stops singing.

1) Does Ted know about the quicksilver? Can he take some?
2) Ted proposes mixing some of his blood with Botis's in the bowl to do something, to see how working with the combination affects the work.
3) Ted gives Ammon a small amount of his blood to make a knife, makes a knife from his own blood, and asks Ammon to make himself a knife with his own blood, simply to observe any differences in blood effect or process.
4) Ted attempts to sing to Abelard's glowing, melted rock, to see if changes are any more permanent. He then sings a hole through which the glowing rock might flow or fall a bit through gravity, to see if that change is more permanent.

The flute is crude, but you remember the rough principle of it. It makes a passable toot.

Playing music does not appear to possess the effects upon stone that words have.

You make a flute, then another. Then three more. You might have gotten a bit carried away. A random bystander audibly wonders if you plan on playing all of those flutes yourself. This is by far the most interest the sane layabouts of the peak have shown in any of this blood business so far.

Everybody's heard of the quicksilver in the tunnel, it's a small peak.The barriers to taking it are largely technical, nobody has any claim to it.

Botis's blood and your own blend in the bowl. When you attempt to make a knife from it, you find the going slow and difficult. It's hard to make any definite statements, as you've not worked with your own blood yet, but it certainly looked easier watching the others. Still, you manage to put a passable edge on your new knife in the end.

Quarrying and constructing with stone is a gradual and varied process. With simple tools such as a chisel and a hammer, it�s a laborious and slow process, one that could be made easier with the use of presently inaccessible tools and techniques. As you may well know, great works have been constructed even with the crudest of tools, but those took lifetimes of labor.

Sweet-talking the stone can make the quarrying part much easier, but the stone can and often does assume odd and ungainly shapes when that ends. These stones can either be remade into squared blocks with the use of more labor, reshaped with precious blood, or minimally reshaped to simply fit together with other irregular stones in.

This is easier said than done. But you manage to consume enough to make your stomach churn. Or perhaps tug. It's a disconcerting sensation, and to a lesser degree, sight. You are physically being tugged in the direction of the clouds.

The feel of the stone is incredibly different. You can sculpt it, in the sense that it has become literally molten due to your sun-glyph. Your hand is not consumed by the flame but this is rather uncomfortable.

The tip of your toe dips through with no resistance. The clouds don�t seem to want to become anything else.

Continue assisting other builder, conserving blood but experimenting with song and chorus, and fitting irregular sung stones together. test whether the quality of the stones is affected by the quality of the song, and practice for several more hours to see if song skill or a harmonized chorus of multiple people can produce larger or better stones.
