That’s a weird one. Studs up and in the opponent’s groin is usually cause enough for a red I would say, but it’s not even in a tackle really, she just ran into the follow through from a clearance. Spain are lucky as hell lol.

The pen+red thing was only for fouls that prevented a clear goalscoring chance. This wasn’t that, Spanish player didn’t even have the ball. The yellow was presumably for leaving her cleats halfway up the birth canal

Norway proving the women's team can be just as poo poo as the men's team at singing the anthems with no hint of a musical note. A tone-dead rendition whose singing belies a nervousness from being favourites. Nigeria have a poor rendition but make up for it with enthusiasm as the anthem ends. One or two show signs of getting psyched up. We've come close to two upsets today, sort of. I think Nigeria, if they can keep their energy maintained for a full match, saving a burst of vigour for the end of the game have them in it to sneak a win.
