Matt historically and very famously gets overwhelmed and kinda just shuts down when things don’t go his way, Amber is actually capable of responding to something and interpreting it as it is occurring. I thought the whole PMC thing from a marxist standpoint is how they earn money. a manager at a tech company paid primarily in stock or a new partner at a law firm with profit sharing have different class relations than people who make their money through wage labor. not quite ownership, not quite workers, therefore a new label was appropriate it's definitely a sliding scale, and something consciously adopted by and large in the 80s with the advent of the 401k and stock disbursements to even lower-level employees. I've never owned a stock and I feel like I have a somewhat different life than friends who have $500,000 of equity vest after three years at their fancy do-nothing jobs i say swears online has issued a correction as of 17:21 on Aug 28, 2021 |

I actually made a typo there. I meant that Labor Aristocracy never stopped being valid, so the concept of a PMC is redundant when labor aristocracy has the same explanatory power.
