😸Everything's 🗞️ purrfect!💯🤟

I never saw any of the Analyze movies or Mickey Blue Eyes and this whole trilogy thing kind of sounded like a dumb bit about dumb movies that was mostly just fun to talk up, but I'm watching along now and the power of Jelly cannot be denied, Viterelli is a totally singular screen presence.

I’m torn on Gethard eps because on one hand I like him but on the other hand I’m very tired of hearing comedians talk about Star Wars

The best guest is ARP, followed by J.D. Amato when he talks about cameras.

I'm mixed on Gethard guesting on other podcasts, but he's pretty great on Blank Check.

Talking about Star Wars on a non-Star Wars episode is one thing but an extended derail apologizing/not-apologizing/explaining himself for past appearances is just too much man. We get it, you’re an anxious nerd, we already have one of those on the podcast.

Titanic is a boat movie. Though I don't know if that episode actually hit 4 hours. It was a two parter though!

I guess the Coens have been talked about to death for decades but as a fan of the podcast I’m still excited to revisit the Coens’ movies along with them. I think I’ve seen all of them which is a first for me

The Lynch series was really great, so hopefully the Coens are good.

I would have preferred Weir because of the Australia of it all.

Still the Ladykillers and Intolerable Cruelty episodes should be funny.

I had never seen the actual clip and never in a million years would have guessed it was framed this way. Gave me a good full belly laugh.

According to the Reddit I guess the next series up is Heckerling? Clueless is fun but I’m not a big fan of the rest of the filmography. I’m not really sure how these people sleuth these things out though

It would be a fun series and I appreciate their commitment to casting a wide net but that would probably be the least blank check director they've ever covered
