Here's all the game show things I can gather. Amazon has the following in the works... - Beast Games with Mr Beast (and $5,000,000) - Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity (5th Grader, but the celebrities are also the children) with Travis Kelce from The Super Bowl and Photos with Taylor Swift - Pop Culture Jeopardy, with a team. - The 1% Club with Patton Oswalt (that's also going to Fox) - a New season of 007: Road to a Million - a Christmas Special Series called Wish List Games with Nick Cannon - "Buy It Now" with JB Smoothe Fox has The Quiz With Balls coming this summer featuring people falling into water. They also have The Floor returning for a Season 2 & 3 And a new show called "extracted" from the Special Forces show that I still think is a fever dream. ABC has Celebrity Jeopardy, Celebrity Wheel, Press Your Luck and Claim to Fame but also.... - Lucky 13 with Shaq and Gina Rodriguez - Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Celebrity Couples Edition with Jimmy Kimmel No word yet on Pyramid and The Chase CBS has it's usual Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race and The Challenge but also - Hollywood Squares is next year with Drew Barrymore - The Summit with Manu Bennett - Unnamed Phil Koeghan Physical Challenge Series - The Price is Right at Night returns as an actual season - Raid the Cage returning with a season 2, that's the supermarket sweep thing with the prizes NBC, well, nothing new has been announced, except for Destination X, that's essentially Geoguessr with The Mole, where whoever is furthest off from where they actually are is eliminated. Hey, uh, Lucky 13 debuted this week. It's a true false quiz for a million dollars, but most likely contestants will just pick a range of 7-9 correct answers for $25,000 or 10-12 for $100,000 as a Pepsi sponsored lifeline and Shaq randomly hitting a button to make an offer happens. Also, Press Your Luck is back next week is a special with Deadpool and Wolverine promotions, because sure, Disney. There is also Celebrity Who Wants to Be A Millionaire with an audience for the first time in the Kimmel run. Also, Celebrity Family Feud is back. Also, the Emmy nominations happened Best Game Show is Celebrity Family Feud The Price is Right at Night Jeopardy! Wheel of Fortune And Password. I know, Deal or No Deal Island got snubbed! And Dropout. Additionally, The Mole got a new season on Netflix with Ari Shapiro. It's, uh, okay, they finally implemented "Jokers" in the game, now called "Corrections", that's a big step forward. I'm sure I'm forgetting more stuff, like The Quiz with Balls and Don't Forget the Lyrics and Name That Time and Beat Shazam in Fox's "It's This, Ramsay or Wrestling" week. Saw Lucky 13. A few thoughts Don't really why it needed two hosts except to fulfill some contracts. Pepsi switch is way too early, might be better halfway through. You can lose by being right, seems unfair. About as subtle delivering the out clause as Hack-A-Shaq

Just updating the thread with all the news you probably already know about. Last week (this week) was the start of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Wheel has Ryan Seacrest as a host and a new set that's full of blues and wheels that look like ship wheels. The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal have PREMIERE WEEKS on Monday. Get ready for overblown budgets. Let's Make a Deal Primetime ends this season with a zonk redemption, nobody watched. Same as Lingo afterwards. REMEMBER LINGO? Lucky 13 ended as well, thanks to our friends at Pepsi, THANK YOU PEPSI, I will forget all about it. There's a new season of Taskmaster, a much better game show that already has its own thread. Almost all the NBC and ABC shows are now in the limbo, so expect repeats when shows aren't working on the network, press your luck does have a Halloween episode though. I’m not touching Beast games. Even I’ve got standards. anyway, season finale of the floor was yesterday. Lots of fun! Can’t wait for season 3. The Genius casting reminds me I fell asleep halfway through an episode of the Devil’s Plan and need to finish it but have no idea what episode they’re all so samey. I haven’t applied to much recently, just the 1% Club (I think) and various embarrassing reality poo poo (not beast games!) Really liking pop culture jeopardy, difficulty feels like the perfect level. Jost is fumbling around a bit but he’ll get it to click and the show is very watchable. Wish lucky 13 would get revived while it’s still remotely possible

Ended up watching the first episode of Beast Games with some friends to see just how bad it could be and holy poo poo everyone involved in making that should be sent to the Hague. I don't watch much reality TV otherwise so I dunno what the standards are, but that was one of the most cruel and corrosive shows I have ever seen. It doesn't even pretend to be about the actual games, it's entirely about feasting on the suffering of desperate people as their hope for a lucky break is arbitrarily snatched away from them. To add insult to injury, it's also just extremely poorly made. There's no sense of pacing or build-up at all, they just rattle off the game concept then show people failing while the beast guy gives pointless commentary. I wouldn't be surprised if they just used the same editor(s) that they use for their youtube videos for the show, with no change in direction.

Once existing syndication rights expire, Sony While I think having past shows available would be great since that doesn't really exist anywhere, my concern is that these shows will no longer be available over the air starting with the 2028 seasons.
