I know a few people who’ve killed in the past and all of them are hosed up in the head and have ptsd. I know a marine who has to sleep with rubber sheets because he soaks his bed in sweat due to the night terrors he has. Grossman’s definitely responsible for a few cop suicides because they weren’t ready for a head full of those memories.

I also love it when, in the video, the girl who was stabbed and fell to the ground was then punted in the head by a grown man, who then proceeded to berate the cop who shot a person actively trying to murder someone. As a parent, If it were my child being attacked by someone with a knife, I would want the offender to be stopped by whatever means necessary. You should really back up and quit moralizing and condescending at people.

I finally watched the video, and the cop is lucky he didn’t shoot the gal in pink. He had options, and the one he chose increased the danger for everyone around. She was only a few feet away. He had other options than having to kill her. I heard something about other cops being there already and doing nothing before the killer cop arrived. Can anyone c/d?

I used to work at a pediatric ER, and we had a 16 year old frequent-flyer psych patient who was as big as a college linebacker. He was in and out so many times that he learned the code to our med carts just by watching, and one day he opened one up, grabbed a syringe, and started lunging at people. Three security officers and a tiny RN managed to restrain him without anyone getting hurt. It baffles me how cops are loving oblivious to the possibility that you can just totally outnumber one person and non-harmfully restrain them. But then again, I suppose that isn’t BADASS AND COOL.

There's a cop car with a door opening that's briefly in frame during the assualting/shooting, but that report doesn't look to be accurate based on the footage. Maybe there's some other dashcam or doorbell cam video?
