I just took a piss using one of those fancy urinals with a screen on top showing some product ads. One was a whisky ad with a whisky stream being poured on some ice and the stream perfectly lined up with the flow of piss hitting the urinal underneath. Then the slogan came up saying "GREAT TASTE". There was a whisky logo in the corner throughout the whole thing. Who the gently caress greenlit advertising an edible product like this? Anyway, use this thread to post other stupid advertising things you saw or whatever.

on my way to work there is a giant spray painted penis in black across a shop's wall. inscribed underneath is the phrase BLACK COCK DOWN. it's either graffiti or some sort of campaign for a movie

I worked for a dude who grew up during the depression and listened to Rush Limbaugh and got senile. When Obama was elected Rush decided that the economy was failing so the company owner sent out flyers that started out "In these dire economic times..." and suggested that the receiver of said advertising should save the flyer for the future, when they could afford to spend money. Unsurprisingly we didn't get a whole lot of responses on that one.

i worked in a hollywood video in a strip mall with a quiznos when that came out, and we knew the quiznos guys cause we traded rental discounts for sandwich discounts, and i remember being high as gently caress with my friend talking to them about those things cause they had cardboard display stuff for it around the store
