I purchased a slave today. Not from Amazon, because gently caress prime day, but another store that just happened to be undercutting Amazon’s sale price on slaves this blessed day of consumerism. It’s a robot vacuum cleaner. Guess we’ll see how long until it alley oops my cats to finally complete their life’s work, bringing cat vomit to every corner of my house.

As someone who lives in Amazon town, I will add that everyone I know who works there (about 10 friends, all in offices downtown) absolutely hate their jobs and are constantly working weekends and nights. One recently had to switch teams because her manager was racist. It's a terrible company. Support the strike!

Or order from some other store just this once, even if that store also dehumanizes its workers, as long as those workers have not also chosen today to protest.
