This show rules. Lovable dorks with a fun dynamic between them, and a great sense of comedic timing and pacing. Shamiko is basically just Kaos with demon horns, and that is very good. I hope Momo will take good care of her.

The joke pacing/timing in the first episode was a little weird, but it got better in the second. And mostly importantly it's v. cute, so good show all around.

This is very cute but the poverty angle makes me uncomfortable.  Momo doesn't seem to know about the whole $400 curse so I hope it gets solved somehow once she learns about it. Or maybe it's just a lie and the demon family got ruined because of something else.

If they spent less time basically bullying her through that poverty, it'd be funnier. Like maybe if the gags were less "Characters mess with her via the fact that she's poor" than "Character ends up in funny situations because they're poor" Not enough to really turn me off to the show, though.

The poverty angle isn't nearly as uncomfortable as in Hinamatsuri. It's mostly played for comedy here.

I'm really enjoying the character dynamic between Shamiko and Momo but the humor of this show is hardly landing for me at all, because most of it is at Shamiko's expense and makes me feel bad for her rather than amused. There's a few really good gags at least
