The show strikes a very good balance between humor and heart warming and might be my actual favorite show this season (sorry Symphogear).

I feel like this show's humor kinda borders on meanspirited sometimes, but Momo is so good to Shamiko that everything works out okay.

Here's a useless tiny detail: Momo broke her arm when she stopped the truck She hides it behind her back so Shamiko won't notice  The next day, you can barely see she has a cast under her uniform  In the next episode, she's doing rehab

I know the show focuses pretty heavily on what a tragic life Yuko is having, but I think they'll take some time later to show you how rough Momo's life has been. She spend her whole childhood focusing on magical girl battles, and she doesn't have any fond memories of that. She lost her family at some point. I don't think she ever got a chance to figure out how to live like a regular person, and she has no one to teach her. Did you see that lunch she brought to school? It was just some bread and uncooked hot dogs!

Manga scans are picking up cause of the anime and it looks like Momo's been through some real hard end of season Precure/Sailor Moon/Madoka/Nanoha stuff...also has the best talking mascot

This show seems to be gaining momentum every episode, From episode 1 I kinda expected it to be one of those forgettably generic cute shows, but it's slowly morphed into my AOTS.

I'm enjoying the show reasonably well, but I wish it were a little better produced and wasn't weirdly edited so thateveryonesalwaystalkingreallyreallyfastlikethis. If they moved just a tiny bit slower and looked as good as like an average DogaKobo show, this would be in the running for one of my favorites of the year instead of just being Pretty Alright.

having fancier animation would be nice but if the writing sticks the landing on all the stuff it's been working towards it won't really bother me that much show has some engaging moving parts for something that was set up as a fluffy gag comedy

most of the time momo's just kind of pushing her into doing stuff that legitimately helps her a bit but the end of the latest ep is kinda just her pressuring her lol
