I absolutely loved the main Dragonfall campaign when it came out, and had no idea there were complete fancampaigns up. I have to admit, though, I've played the first few missions (up to the point where you fail to rescue the head of Aztechnology in CalFree from a troll assassin) and I'm really not impressed -- missions so far have been pretty much straight gauntlets of combat with no real choices or plot twists. Do things get better?

I've just picked up playing this scenario again and I decided at the start that, like when I played Hong Kong, my character would have a shadowrunner nickname that he picked up early in his career and was never able to shake. It keeps on paying off:

Racists are basically the go-to in Shadowrun if you want your players to go up against an enemy they have no moral compunctions about killing, and I am OK with that.

One of the things I like about the Dragonfall campaign is that when Lofwyr shows up at the end to berate you for your actions you can tell him to his face "you got a problem with what we did to Feuerschwinge ? Then come have a go, fucko" or words to that effect. And he does, and you all die, but god drat does it feel good.
