Yesterday when I woke up I saw my favorite College team the Miami Hurricanes were favored over VT by 14. The same team that beat Central Michigan at home by 5. So I finally broke down and made a deposit on Bovada and wagered both on VT to cover and then a smaller wager of VT to win outright. It felt great for my team to lose for once. Then I doubled down, and bet the Pats to cover today and that made their win way more tolerable as well. I should have been betting against my lovely teams and on the Pats for years now, god drat it. As for the Cowboys, they've been truly tested for the first time this season in these past two weeks and dropped both games. I can see them bouncing back after the Packers beat that rear end, but what I like more on this game is Under 44.5. Just given where both teams are I'd expect the offenses to be fairly conservative. Unlike, say, Tom Brady and the Pats who covered in heroic fashion on Thursday. Surely I'm not the only one who got a kick out of their reaction to the Giants calling a cheeky timeout with ~4:30 left down by 14, only for Brady to go deep and then sneak it twice for the score. Shoulda just rolled over!

Jawon Pass is out the rest of the season, and while Louisville has had success rotating their 2nd and 3rd string QBs in, they haven't experienced a defense as aggressive as Clemson's. On the flip-side, Dabo doesn't give a poo poo about covering, and if Clemson starts rolling early, the starters are coming out so he can get his other guys some reps.
