There's been no update to the manga for a very long time unfortunately, but you can purchase up to volume 4 of the light novels, and it's been a really good blend of horror, adventure, romance, and 'banished from hero party' themes. It's called "Roll Over and Die" in the light novels.

Regressor Instruction Manual has a manga now. plot synopsis: absolute scumbag sociopath gets group isekai'd, uses his unique appraisal skill to realize the guy next to him is a regressor, then promptly decides to hitch his wagon to the hero for personal safety/comfort since his own stats suck. the story is largely defined by the MC being an utterly manipulative sociopath in an isekai setting who uses his social skills to compensate for lack of personal strength. whether that sounds interesting or awful should tell you whether the story is something you'd like.

One of my current favorite trash isekais is Gacha Girl Corps. Dude who's hopelessly addicted to gacha wins an invite to the "new world" when he fails to pull the latest waifu and it summons him to the typical fantasy-type world. Only he can still use his phone for gacha, which lets me him gamble for girls to recruit to his party. It's actually not that unwholesome, other than the whole "summoning real people" thing, though even then the girls don't seem to be forced into doing anything. The "worst" I've seen is that there's some suggestive panels here and there to let you know that yes, this artist absolutely does porn on the side. I just love how much of a dork the MC is, and I enjoy the way the rest of his party interacts/reacts to him.

Eminence In Shadow updated. an anime is in production, and more than anything I want to see this chapter animated. the entire chapter from start to end is amazing. The fight in the second half of the chapter is perfectly stupid, and I am shocked that I am still outright laughing at the MC's gimmick even now. the author nails it every time, and it's such a good gimmick.

The MC is despicable, but so are most of the people around him. It is kind of enthralling watching him be lovely and having to deal with the unexpected fallout of his own schemes. I'll probably drop it before too long when it crosses too many lines, but at least for now it's got my interest.

Everything just works out because hes actually strong enough to make his bullshit seem profound. Him not realizing hes actuallly living his fantasy rather than just acting it out is starting to wear a little thin. It is funny though how he ended with a few (extra-weird) weirdos in the midst of all his hyper competent followers.

it's a dumb comedy. that he coincidentally described the nature and goals of an ancient secret conspiracy including its exact name while making up some random chuuni bullshit should have been a hint. like every comedy, it's not worth sticking with once it stops being funny to you.

The guy from Instruction Manual is pretty drat awful, but sadly it's the kind of awful I've grown used to from these "hard man making hard choices" stories. At least this time it doesn't feel like the author thinks I should be nodding along and approving of his sociopathic decisions, which is a nice change. Mynoghra has an update and it's honestly feels way less distressing than the version in the novel, even though the events are the same.

Been on a survival isekai bent lately: Guy gets isekai'd and decides to try eating all the things. Gets a bunch of girls in his party. All characters have actually been useful so far and the fun facts have been pretty great. Decent worldbuilding too. I mean, I Swear I Won’t Bother You Again! got the harem tag somehow. And KonoSuba has a loli tag. To me, they are mainly warning indicators. A quick first pass to see if you should move on to check the reviews.

In today's mildly-interesting isekais, I bring Yuusha Shoutai Kamoku Yuusha Wa Nagasarenai. The MC is kind of easy-going (to the point of laziness) and shy, which leads him to being mistaken as a cool and quiet hero. After defeating the Demon King he prepares to go home, only to have the Princess force him to take her along. However instead of ending up back in Japan, they're instead taken to a sci-fi world with aliens and giant mechs. I appreciate it for doing something slightly different when it comes to isekais, and the MC isn't completely OP which is a plus. However a lot of the humor comes from the MC reluctantly going along with Princess' hype man routine, which doesn't always hit the mark. So far it doesn't have anything unwholesome, but it does have kid soldiers if that kind of thing upsets you.
