Let's take the highest ranking one that is not universally hated from each. What is there to post about? Bayern will win the domestic titles again, the usual suspects will fight for the CL and EL places, and Hamburg will fail to get promoted again. And football without spectators is not as exciting as it is with fans in the stands. I guess there's Metzelder liking child porn, but nobody bothered to post about it in here, so...

I don't know whether things will improve. We're on just 10 pages this thread, and the season is long over. Like 60% of the season got finished before Corona, yet it didn't generate a lot of posts. And iirc, Bayern didn't look like the 100% sure title winners until a bit into the season, but there were still not a lot of posts. How will things get better? Corona will still negatively impact the matches, even if perhaps a few thousand fans can attend then. Bayern look even stronger than last season, and solidified their financial lead over the competition by winning the triple. I don't see how the Bundesliga could become less boring next season.

Considering that a lot of posts in the previous threads would be just a bunch of Bayernstans verbally masturbating about the performance of their football club, the sudden drought of posts in this one can be easily explained with the lackluster results of Bayern in the first half of the season and Covid killing the rest.

I was excited for Matchday 1 but came to find out Bundesliga coverage has gone from Fox Sports to ESPN+. Guess I'm re-subbing to that for a while.

^^SAME  We've had a very good run of "free" coverage here  on FoxSports 1,2 for the last 6+ years and received (I'm guessing) 95% of all the games, since those channels were usually included in a standard TV package. ESPN is only showing 4 matches on their regular channel this year, and I'm pretty sure yesterday's was 1 of them. I'm not very motivated having to pay ESPN+ $6/month (and use their dumb separate app) going forward to watch. Hopefully ESPN+ implodes and the matches go to ESPN's normal channels. I don't want to go back to the dark days of pre-2010 watching on laptop via shady russian streams, etc.

Also not everyone gets Fox Sports 2 as it can be in a higher tier package and that is where they stick most of the Bundesliga matches. With ESPN+, it is a much better streaming platform than Fox Soccer Match Pass.
