It started with simulated protests and at one point they told me to detain 'a suspicious individual' outside one of our gates. They had some local German roleplayers involved and the individual would be wearing a red sweater. So I look around for a while, and I see an older lady in a red jacket go into an apartment building. It wasn't immediately obvious they were a roleplayer, so I call back to confirm that they want me, an armed American soldier, to leave post and enter a civilian building and detain a civilian. They say yes. I started having premonitions of ways this could go, so I just sat in my jeep for 15 minutes before radioing back that I couldn't find her. Never heard anything about it.

They set up bombs at a publisher and called in a bomb threat, but some the bombs detonated within 5 minutes of the call and injured 36 people while others didn't explode. I really don't think we gotta hand it to em.

My FRG story is when my truck got blown up (everyone fine), someone in the TOC immediately notified their FRGwife who called my parents and said something like 'We don't know if he's ok'. Parents were freaking out for a couple days before I called them on a sat phone to catch up, unaware of what they had been told.

My only security forces story is when I was going on leave through Al Udeid, they drove us out to the flightline in a humvee. They had a guy in the turret with an unloaded M4, and when we stopped the driver and TC got out and pulled security (also with unloaded M4s) as we got in the plane. I don't know if they were loving with us or if it was a 'FPCON gone wrong/sexual' situation.

Jagged Alliance 2 had a guy you needed to bribe to prevent portions of your deliveries from being stolen. If you kill him, he gets replaced with another guy who's so incompetent he can lose ENTIRE shipments. And if you kill that guy, you can't get any more supply shipments. There were also some characters that would get drunk/high if they were left in an area with alcohol/drugs/meds. They could also steal money or items. Some characters hated each other so much they'd kill each other or quit if they were in the same area. A lot of them were just really, really dumb.
