Also Sarge was played by The Rock who is actually called Dwayne Johnson IRL and is a really nice cool guy who may or may not decide to run for president.

doom would be a lot cooler if they replaced sarge doom guy’s face with dwayne ‘the rock’ johnson. if only the doom modding community was full of good people rather than nazis

seems less like the actual game inspiring violence and more the modding community poisoning the mind of the youths. you’d probably never see this with other video games. for example i thought of a neat skyrim mod where all the dialogue and sound effects would be dubbed over with my voice

I made a map of my school but it wasn't in Doom and the game was supposed to be a Zelda type game but I was not yet good enough to make such a game. Anyway that turned me into an insane killer of men and I am now about to be launched on a rocket into the sun.

Brutal Doom adds a bunch of interesting new mechanics and makes a lot of old WADs really fun to play again, but dude definitely has a raging hardon for making the gore as gross as possible. At one point I just stopped installing the updates because it was getting too over the top and obvious he was coding this stuff while using one hand
