Thanks for your hard work, Clarste! God, I just realized what a sucker I am for mega-badasses who are woefully out of their depth when it comes to matters of love.

Such a rude husband, making his wife worry like that. I wonder what Loid thinks is the reason behind Yor's inexplicably refined rear end-whooping skills.

You know how Bruce Banner and the Hulk fused to become the Professor? That's what Bill is going to be when he's all grown up.Mulderman posted:Damian was almost a very good boy this chapter.

So proud of Anya. Still in the single-digits and she's already sabotaging terrorist plots and blowing them up with their own explosives.

Quite the harrowing chapter, but it also brings up an interesting possibility. Having an extra sense means a first responder can react to sudden danger faster than most. I hope Anya won't have to hide her telepathy well into her adult years, however things shake out.

The fun thing about Future Dog is that Anya is going to read his mind and, instead of magically solving every problem she foresees, run into some serious issues anyway because she's a very young girl.

Blowing up dogs and killing children...this is some prototypical bad guy stuff, alright. I wonder how far into the future the big dog can see, given he clearly knows he's gonna get adopted by the Folgers already.

That panel with Anya trying to reassure Franky was gold. Kids can devastate your self-esteem without even trying.

You think this is scary now, wait until the reinforcements come with weapons. They won't just be hoisted, they're gonna get yanked into the air and sent over the skyline by their own petards.

drat, that chapter was pretty raw. I wonder how much destruction Keith is going to cause on his way out. It's early in the series, so our heroes are likely going to make a clean sweep, but you never know.

There's far more overlap between the two than you might think!

I heard the author wrote some pretty dark stuff before this, so I'm genuinely afraid Loid won't make a trick shot that lets that dog live.

End of the chapter got me all emotional. You're home at last, buddy. You're home at last. My question is whether Yor was hopped up on adrenaline when she hosed up that car or if she can just do that whenever.

Bond is good. Anya is good. This series is good.

When Endo decides to finally let every cat out of every bag, it's gonna be a gigantic mess.

The entire family (barring Bond) was a real hoot this chapter. I think Anya is slowly being acclimated to her parents' secret kookiness.

Gotta love how Yor just asserted her dominance as Loid's wife while actively trying to hold herself back.

Loid figuring out that maybe this woman he married might have feelings for him is the biggest, ugliest laugh I've had in all my time reading this manga.

Man, it's like trying to talk to a brick wall, except a brick wall acts consistently. My only takeaway from that conversation is that Desmond isn't as concerned with Damien's emotional well-being as he should be, which didn't exactly come out of left field.

Everyone praises rescue dogs for saving others, but nobody asks if the dog wants to rescue himself.

What if Loid just fails to recognize Yor? "Hm, this woman looks like my wife...she also sounds like my wife...but she acts nothing like my perfectly normal wife, so this must some sort of weird coincidence."

There has to be a whole pantomime routine where they unknowingly back into each other, but look around in just the right ways so they don't catch sight or bump into one another.
