it's an extremely good premise set in a very unique setting with excellent artwork and action and a cast of entirely likeable characters including one extremely marketable one. there's really not much mystery to why it took off like a rocket.

yeah idk what else he was supposed to do since he knew what twilight was doing and if they didn't do something right this instant they'd lose their one legitimate shot at catching the legendary spy. telling his cohort to go get help rather than going with him into the sewers means that if he goes down, there's a possibility of further action, rather than them both getting got and their bodies disposed of in the sludge without anyone knowing what happened to them

oh hey, Figurama is doing a Spy x Family statue, and it's of the Forger family! https://figurama-collectors.com/products/the-forgers-elite-figumiz-bundle only a teaser image for now, reveal will be next week, and preorders in a month. I bought their Dorohedoro statue as my first foray into anime statues, and it's quite excellent, so I can only assume this will be of similar quality. They only do a very small run of sub-1000 items usually I believe, so this is the sort of thing you'll want to keep an eye on especially for something as big as SxF, it will probably sell out very fast.

Him having trouble making yor not be despicable as a murderer with undoubtedly dozens if not a hundred kills under her belt is totally understandable, I wonder if he will change it somehow down the line. Like I think he's tried to do that with the gardener person having her kill supposed "evil" targets. But when she inevitably targets Twilight, maybe that will be the turning point where she quits, or does her own thing, or something. I agree though, for a series that tries to juggle the cute family life with their secret brutal/serious jobs, yor seems like a near impossible task to balance.

goddamn the Figurama Spy Family statue isn't one statue, it's three(with Bond included with a full set order!) https://figurama-collectors.com/pages/spyxfamily   I love the bullet effects whizzing past loid, taking out his hat and the lamp. really nice gimmick. not sold on the stands though.
