nope, sometimes I would forget to ask for no feathers in a hotel and had to suffer with weird feather shapes all night. yuck

when my wife was i. the hospital in labor with our son last year i bopped down to the cafe and to my delight found some brussels sprouts in the salad bar thingy. they somehow did some unholy thing to them and they were repulsive. luckily my taste for the vegetable in general soon returned, but boy was i off them for a while.

overcooking most brassica but especially brussels sprouts really brings out the sulphur compounds which makes them taste and smell like rotten egg farts

halifax is on our list of retirement cities tho. i honestly love the maritimes and think itís criminally underrated by the rest of canada. we went to nfld a couple of years ago and it was one of the most amazing trips of my life.

i feel like most maritime angryland enthusiasts will now just go to a chain (-ish) irish pub or local brewpub in march for some palatable approximation of it rather than an authentic but tortured homestyle version. the irish cultural festivals around here have fallen by the wayside over the years and covid has all but killed them

the brewpubs are also a good go-to for octoberfest food because there arenít a lot of hotspots for it otherwise (anymore)

speaking of irish pubs i do like the cask and kettle in saint john. surprisingly not terrible food if also not my first choice

i hurt my back years ago and was worried that it would be forever but i found core exercises really helped in that regard. not even saying you need to become some big exercise person, just simple stuff.

i feel on the knee pain, though, mine is off and on and jogging probably doesnít help

2.) there are two ways to get hereditary hemochromatosis, both of which require homozygosity of one of two genes, i managed to weirdly get a single copy of each of these versions. unlikely to cause issues as the risk is only slightly increased in this scenario, but worth knowing about just in case, i suppose.

last night i had a dream we were walking in a mall and i had the power to explosively create fire from inside of me and we were looking for stores to burn down because evil capitalism.

there was a microsoft store that had moved all of its products into the back and installed giant wooden security doors to prevent this happening again

i have knee pains but i must admit theyíre getting better despite the running (lol itís just jogging, i donít go fast enough to call it running) i think due to the stretching routines i started doing daily.

i bought a spin bike for home use and as a result signed up for the peloton classes and ngl i am really enjoying them. itís pushed me to do a lot more than i would have just on my own.

depends, you can get various firmnesses and some are thin aluminum coated with silicone. for my money i like silicone spats for anything like mixing and scraping, and nylon turner spatulas for flipping poo poo around in a nonstick pan

tbh i just subscribed to the digital peloton app because the classes are good and it motivates me to bike and get on the treadmill several times a week. the stretching has been a good bonus.

i don't know about stretching per se but yoga with adriene is really good

she's very conscious about getting toward the woo side of things and is pretty down to earth for a yogaperson. i like her and she's got tons of stuff like 30-day programs to do

but like i run more than ever now (not a ton like a real runner but a lot for me) and despite this my knee pain is much reduced and my back pain is totally gone

and like five years ago my back pain was so bad car rides were basically torture
