I noticed that they increased the price of the old page 9 cosmetics from 30 to 100 lol

Internal testing with a very small group of self-selected hardcore game fans is an extremely dangeorus can of worms if you dont make sure to cover a decent spread of player skill and commitment, because unhinged "top 1%" people will give extremely biased feedback that can make things miserable for 99% of the actual players. Though i usually see that with smaller indie devs, and I'm sure an established team like Remedy would be more than aware of it.haveblue posted:Honestly this feels par for the course for a studio's first ever multiplayer title Unfortunately the real dealbreaker for me is that this spin-off just doesn't have a lot of the actual things like tone, mood (surreal and alien with a tasteful mix of hostility and comedy), characters (ahti, jesse), narrative and exploration that made me fall in love with Control, and I'm not sure that's something gameplay/progression fixes or even new levels (to add some desperately needed variety) will change. As much as i wish it did. RoadCrewWorker fucked around with this message at 15:06 on Jun 21, 2025 |

Yeah one disappointing things is that there aren't any readables for the things introduced here. There's a third mouth to the furnace now or did that section of maintenance shift is the part 6 years? Has research put together anything on the pink goo? If the launch system has been in the quarry does that mean those leeches were already there before Control? There's a whole section of the building dedicated to this ski lift but what is it and why does it need a facsimile mountain?

Idk, considering how sloppy the first game is with its balance, and various other examples in their previous games it's not that big of a surprise to me.

The real crime is how long it takes until you can float! eta: It takes just a bit too long before you become the Goddess of throwing-poo poo-your-way! But once you are you can never go back! a bit like Dark Forces II before you get the lightsaber. Plan R fucked around with this message at 18:36 on Jun 21, 2025 |

Yeah, actually, it would've been nice if you got it sooner. You really miss it on repeat playthroughs

Yeah, this is one of the few games that seem to be a bit wonky. Like Robocop, I have to force it to follow my law and not go unlimited frames and cook my cpu.

I had it frame capped to 60!p and it was the second time it happened, the first was on launch day but I forgave it. But this game was finished anyway, it took me 10 minutes to even find a match on a weekend. So gently caress it

If anyone is still playing it looks like they're gonna make level 3 perks more expensive in a patch next week, so I guess you might want to grind those out before thenhttps://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2272540/view/536605983645893033?l=english posted:What’s Changing Soon?

Really hope the steamchart numbers dont account for the majority of players, because FBCs daily peak there is already under 200, generally 100+-50 concurrent. For context, the 4 year old "we got l4d at home" back 4 blood sitting on mixed reviews has 1-2k avg players, is still getting expansion packs and is currently on 90% sale for like 5 bucks. Which kinda makes "get this stuff now before we make it harder" a rather bold strategy? Ì guess hopefully the playerbase is getting carried by gamepass/ps plus subs, wonder how that's gonna go once those rotate out.

Unless there was a very recent announcement B4B last expansion came out a while ago. But yeah you can still reliably find people playing it one way or another. I forgot to turn on private game just a month or so ago and got a random joining within a few minutes.

A lot of console people are playing for free since it's bundled into the PSN GamePass equivalent. But yeah, not great. I hope they had another plan for funding Control 2
