The slide is definitely going to create some friction between suit and skin, you can actually get an open wound/scrape like that EVEN IF there is no tear in the suit and it works as intended. Basically it's not a good time and they're gonna be pretty banged up afterwards; how much depends on the circumstances of the crash itself Can confirm that I’ve gotten into an accident while riding my bicycle wearing a thick jacket and while the jacket had no scrapes/etc on it, my arm was all scraped up when I took the jacket off later. Pretty weird to see, tbh.
