The Finnish Air Force got its start when a swedish baron, Eric von Rosen, donated an airplane (yes, one) to the Finnish government in 1918. The blue swastika was a traditional heraldic symbol for his family, so in recognition of his role the Finnish Air Force also adopted it as their symbol. After World War II Finland stopped using the swastika as any kind of symbol precisely because of its new found association with nazis.

It turns out that SBL basketballer Wade Guerin from Minneapolis has been stuck in West Australia due to border being closed because of the coronavirus and he's used this time to start his rap career and ........ help establish a new SovCit sovereign nation???? Earlier today Wade and several other SovCits calling themselves the Friends of New Westralia broke into a historic courthouse, raised their sovereign flag (it's just the St George's Cross, I guess they couldn't afford to hire a graphic designer to make a new one for them) and staged a sit in. Police soon turned up and immediately arrested them all.
