That's fantastic. The guy is so indignant.

I especially like how they clearly made contact quite early on and yet at the last minute he tried to accelerate into a gap that wasn't there and instead of maybe taking the next exit and coming back round he decided he was going to completely gently caress his car and his holiday.

I find the mental attitude of drivers once they're in cars fascinating, I wonder if there's been a study into why people turn into absolute cretins in cars.

Something similar to how people act on the internet vs in-person. A lot of that behavior can be attributed to the "protection" that a car offers, and it's much easier to dehumanize a driver of a car vs an actual living, breathing human being. People feel empowered to act like jackasses because they feel untouchable, again, much like idiots on the internet.

Good point, this would also explain the terror when I've walked up to a dickhead driver's car and opened their passenger door at traffic lights. :v:

In human to car interactions, the car is always wrong. Just like, slow down... You're sat on your arse in a vehicle that requires minimum effort to move, US market cars are mostly automatic so it's not like the driver would even be inconvenienced by changing gears.

You can't undertake in the UK. So you drive in the left lane (remember we drive on the left) unless you need to overtake, and if you need to overtake someone in the middle lane you use the one on the right.

It works, mostly. So if you're driving along in the left lane and you catch up with someone in the middle, you have to cross 2 lanes to overtake, then all the way back across.

This isn't true. Undertaking in the UK is is classed as you coming up behind a car in the middle lane and moving into the left lane to go past. (or indeed behind a car in the right lane and then moving to the middle to get past).

If you're already in the left lane and are going faster than the car in the middle lane then it's not actually classed as undertaking because you didn't move lanes. This is now why they're enforcing the middle lane hog thing, if you're getting passed on the left then you shouldn't be in that lane.

I've watched this like 30 times and I can't work it out. He's too late on the dismount for grabbing the swing, plus his hands are in the wrong spot.

There's a rope underneath the seat, maybe he was trying to grab for that and just missed because he's an idiot? Either way; lol

They will sue you (and win).

Imagine a law system that will side with a company wanting to charge for a service that a customer doesn't actually use or want. This is particularly bullshit with gyms because most people sign up then quit after a month leaving the gym to just take money from them for however long it takes the customer to jump through the appropriate contracted hoops in order to cancel. What I'm saying is, gym contracts shouldn't be a thing.

Hm yes lets make everyone in Texas, all 29 million, take a trip to Illinois or the like in order to get their driver's license; or let's build car sized ice rinks instead, and require everyone to drive on them repeatedly in order to train their skills for what is at best a freak once a year occurrence. And lets do this all while making a driver's license the de facto only form of identification so that you need it for absolutely everything. There is nothing wrong with this idea. Nope, completely feasible.

Out if curiosity i went to my local Walmart here in Texas today and they don't sell winter tires or snow chains. Best you can get is All Season, which is frankly good enough for what Texas normally throws at you. Except for yesterday, when climate change hosed us up.
