Super "fun" thing about the Telsa autopilot program is that there's already companies selling a device to bypass the requirement that you have to be holding the steering wheel.

Noted garbage person Steven Seagal has been fined $314,000 by the SEC. Basically what happened was that he started making comments on social media about how great this cryptocurrency called "Bitcoiin2Gen" was and how it was the next best thing in crypto. What he didn't mention was that the company behind the coin was paying him for the endorsement and it turns out that failing to disclose a paid endorsement is illegal. Whoops.

The hosts of the Discovery Channel show "Diesel Brothers" have been hit with an $850k fine (with an addition 1.2 million in attorney fees) for purposefully bypassing emission controls on trucks they build and sell. They're assholes who modify trucks to "roll coal" and purposefully belch out black clouds of smoke. Because of the ruling if they're ever caught doing this again they could actually go to jail as it would be contempt of court.

You'd think a cable channel would have lawyers to make sure that the show wasn't blatantly breaking the law like that.

Coronafreude

Restaurant's franchise yanked after criticizing IL Gov JB Pritzker.

quote:

A letter from Rosati’s head office displayed on a Facebook page, which the Warrenville-based company confirmed to the Herald & Review on Monday was genuine, slammed Taylorville franchisee Peggy Brandon for her “juvenile approach.”

It added: “Because this franchisee does not hold our same values, we have terminated their franchise.”

RuPaul: makes money from fracking

So racing has kind of moved to the back burner during the pandemic but some organizations have been doing online races through computer sims. During a recent charity race Formula Ed driver Daniel Abt was caught having brought in a pro gamer ringer to run his race for him. He has been fired from his real life racing team.

While it is a very good thing that he lost the primary and there's no way he'll be re-elected there is the problem that he was in Congress for 18 years and was openly racist for a years and years.

Is that the dude who went to the suicide forest in Japan and filmed himself in front of a corpse? The fact that there's more than one option already proves this is the hellworld timeline.

No, that was his brother. Jake Paul is the one who did a scam by selling an online course on how to be a successful influencer and did stuff like have a cheap buy in at first but then ask for a whole lot more to get anything.

Also Jake Paul is extra scummy because he aims his videos at kids and then advertises to them in such a way that would be completely illegal if it was anywhere but Youtube.

IIRC the answer is Dick Grayson was injured in a public setting so Bruce decided to dress in a bunch of different costumes so everyone would be looking at Batman and not notice that Robin had exactly the same injury at the same time as Dick.
