Has Ferocidon shut down Scapeshift already? I haven't played much in the last few days.

2-2 with gruul riot, lost one to Torbran red that just had it and one to mardu Knights when I killed the wrong creature and things got out of hand.

I'm completely new to MTG and am hooked following a couple days worth of Arena. Just a brief question: are there any particularly good beginner resources at all? Youtube or text is fine, I just need to understand the core principles of the game really.

Also, a bonus question: in any TCG I usually play mill/discard decks, are any decks currently viable playing in my favourite assholish style?

almost done with this game due to the client bugging out every second match or so, locking me out behind a loading screen. The upcoming patch with stability fixes better be a doozy.

I think it might have to do with flaky network connections, the client seems to be really bad once you desync somehow and barely ever recovers gracefully.

being in Australia doesn't help

For some reason they made buying packs even more tedious by making you redeem each pack as it's purchased for gold. I don't know if it's just packs from older sets that I happened to be buying or is the way going forward?

I'm looking forward to Runeterra because they say they're going to patch and tune cards every 2 weeks if needed. Paper is holding MTG back from it's full potential. It's still the greatest card game made yet, but only having bans for fuckups is just so

I just hate Riot and their IP so completely that Runeterra could literally be better than M:tG and I’d skip it.

I don't give a poo poo about their IP and just hope it's a fun, well managed game

Danse for 6 with 2 eggs in the graveyard, one of which I took care of with Angrath's Rampage

What would MTG be like if both players could put down lands and cast spells in each turn, just one player had priority, and only one player could attack IE Legends of Runeterra?

After seeing how that game does it, it seems less bad to be the player going second.

PS I know MTG would never actually change that drastically, it's just a thought experiment.

Anyone else not get wildcards back for Oko? I made him like a week ago after everyone said he'd likely be banned. Only have 3 mythic wildcards and I'm pretty drat sure they were there already (and I have 4 Oko).

Edit: Nvm. I didn't realize there's a second terrible Oko and somehow crafted that. Thanks WotC.

After a year of playing / buying in to this I've realised I just prefer watching other people playing it more often, so haven't completed dailies for a month now.

It's there any market for accounts here or anywhere on the net?
