Just finished a reread of great hunt, I had forgotten how unlikable Matt was while still linked to the dagger. At least after the trip through the portal stones, he started moving more towards the Matt we all love at the end of the series. All that said, if Perinn wasn't stuck with Faile, he'd be my favorite character, instead of Matt

Yeah I just finished that book, Laman's sword was power wrought and, while I haven't hit Dumais well's yet, I'm pretty sure he loses it there along with the other stuff they took from him.

Yeah I just finished listening to the first time Egwene had to serve Eliada dinner and this grey sister is such a quivering wreck as Eliada just torments her. I really like MOST of Egwene in the tower, but she's a loving monster in her own way.

Spoilers for the Last Battle: Where the gently caress did Moghedian come from? The last I remember, she got sucked into Shadar Logoth during the cleansing, then she's suddenly jumping around impersonating Demandred. Also, what happened to Grendal? After the explosion turned her compulsion back onto her, did Avendiha just keep her around or execute her? I think I was falling asleep during that part of the audiobook because I don't remember.

I should probably go and listen to their show ones. I'm on part three of the great hunt finale Edit: I don't want to sound down on the podcast, I really enjoy it and like supporting my chicago people, but listening to multiple episodes in a row, like I do on my days off when I'm outside with the dogs playing video games, certain things begin to grate on you.

Did anyone else catch that Moiraine said she didn't know Nynaeve could channel? Are women unable to sense those who can channel now? She picked up on Egwene right away. As a whole, loved the episode. Absolutely ADORED Moirane shutting Liandrine down and their whole rivalry.
