This is an entirely open-setup game, so read this entire post to be informed before signing up. Also, this is the first game I've ever modded, so please keep that in mind if you decide to join this likely poo poo game. FLAVOR: You're all trying to bake a delicious cake, but there's a poison that's trying to infect your ingredients! Stop them or your cake will be a disaster! SETUP: This game will be for 6 players. 2 scum, 4 town. As there are not many players, please do not sign up if you are not excited to participate. You must all commit to playing this game 10 times in immediate succession, each time henceforth referred to as a "round". There will be no night phase in this game, except for a short break between rounds. Roles and alignment will be randomized each round. Lynches will be similar to "lights out" except the flip will come immediately upon the hammer, and the day will continue indefinitely until a victory is reached and the round ends. Whoever has the first vote for the first lynch target at the time of hammer will receive one dayvig. If used, everyone except the target can keep talking, and if that doesn't end the round, the day will continue. This vig is the only kill in the game. Scum will know who each other are, but will not have OOT communication with each other. TOWN ROLES: 1 - Flour. Can only post in thread and vote. 2 - Butter. Can only post in thread and vote. 3 - Egg. Choose one person for unconfirmed masonry. Also, you can secretly daycop one player. 4 - Vanilla. Your vote secretly counts double. Also, you can secretly daycop one player. SCUM ROLES: 5 - Arsenic. Choose one person before the round starts to cop as their opposite alignment. If you target Egg or Vanilla, that result will continue into the death flip. 6 - Ipecac. Public rolecop (activated secretly), with Arsenic and Ipecac returning results of Egg and Vanilla respectively. ** version 1.2 patch notes: -removed rolecop for scum because it's useless. instead they can just use both a frame on town and a tailor on one of themselves. -frame is now supercharged. if you hit one of the power roles, you'll gain an advantage over them. for egg, you copy the ability. and for vanilla, you steal their power unbeknownst to them. -egg can no longer wield the dayvig. -flavor names for the ingredients previously known as "flour" and "butter" are no longer going to be consistent. they'll just be some other thing. ~~~~ The idea for this game comes from one small problem I've observed in mafia meta, which is that familiarity with each player's individual "meta" is often a benefit to solving the game, and you can never actually reference in-thread examples of how a player acts town or scum. So I invented a game where by the end of it, players can easily get a gauge of how the other players act in different alignments. wouldn't ipecac kind of neutralize arsenic somewhat because ipecac just makes you puke, and not having arsenic in your system because you puked it up seems like a good thing this isn't a signup I'm just sayin'
