It wasn't just a POC space that started "Yas queen" - it was a queer POC space. This erasure is a harmful microaggression. It's just one example of the kind of cultural appropriation and straightwashing that LGBTQIIAAAPPKGNC++ have to endure every day.

Maybe next time you should check your privilege before you speak??? I mean I'm not trying to be rude here, it just seems like maybe you should try being a little more woke in the future. :rolleyes:

The country of Timber earned its name for its breathtaking forests like the one you see before you. But this forest isn't just pretty. It's an important part of the ecosystem of thousands of creatures!! Birds, squirrels, deer, geezards, funguars, to say nothing of the rich plant life sheltered by these branches! Timber is its forests.

Greedy lumberjacks don't care. They look at these trees and they see dollar gil signs. They're willing to destroy this refuge of nature's bounty just to increase their material wealth. Capitalism at its finest!!!

But even capitalists worry about bad press. Like the kind lumberjacks get if they bulldoze trees that have angry teenagers chained to them. Teenagers they would have to murder in order to desecrate these sacred, noble trees!!!

2) It's all well and good to be worried about the complex socioeconomic layers that go into the root cause of deforestation and how it impacts local communities and it's really complicated yes but these trees are going to die TODAY if we don't stop those bulldozers and maybe we can fix the big messy systemic problems after we save the trees, because otherwise the trees won't be here to save????

3) Our planet is dying! This is an emergency! How much deforestation can we take before we cross the tipping point of it being too late to save?!?!

Scum don't necessarily want town getting or using abilities, but they'd also want to look townie, and want to have a couple of people voting "join" in case everyone who joins gets some kind of a bonus.

The post I made, even outside of the context of being suuuper drunk is still reasonable (because even if I'm drunk I'm still the best mafia player on the planet).

Absent any knowledge, even if I think the role is 3p I don't know if the role is a town or scum aligned 3p or purely neutral. Voting one way or the other locks me in to a perspective on it. Compare to what i did, which is informing the game of a suspicion I have and allows extra time for contemplation and perhaps further explanation.

Anyway, hungover as gently caress, I'll probably cook up something interesting this evening.

So first off, I forgot you were drinking -- I was rereading reactions from after the vote was announced, to see if anything jumped out, and your post explaining you were going to drink and shitpost was from before that. So that's my bad.

As for locking you in -- it didn't occur to me because I wouldn't have thought voting did lock you in, but a couple of other people have made similar comments. Are day actions not something you can change your mind and re-vote on?

Suggested lunch targets based on reactions to something we know nothing about.

We only have the flavor which, while admittedly is nothing to be openly opposed to, is simultaneously nothing to be hand in hand about.

JJ brought reason I hadn't considered, but if it is a negative thing, we probably wouldn't get the truth any how.

I feel being wary of unexplained day actions is more town than not, but I am biased.

Also the ability to switch should not be allowed. That way the thread isn't cluttered with unnecessary interactions. One vote, you cast it and your decision is made. I think that's best for a day action like that. It's how pig handled it most recently and I think it is successful.

I disagree that the reactions can't tell us anything. I don't think it's as clear as "agree = town, oppose = scum" by any means, but it was a catalyst that people had to respond to.
