A man's man, wears a lot of denim, tells long stories and has oatmeal saved from this morning.

I might change them but for now my (Anton Strawman) keepers are:

Tomas Hertl $23->$28
Ondrej Kase $1 (FA)->$2
Nino Neiderreiter $1 (FA)->$2
Anders Lee $1 (FA)->$2

I'm in JST, so... probably any time you pick sucks for me. But later in the evening works best, is the next morning for me.

I have to say it's almost certainly not worth keeping mcdavid. I want to, but... bah.

Keepers:
Cam Atkinson -> $13 -> $16
Bo Horvat -> $13 -> $16
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins -> $12 -> $14
Mattias Ekholm -> $1 -> $2 (waiver pickup, first time keeper)

edit: oh I should have noted, all of these guys are first time keepers... because I dropped Talbot and Wilson during the season, and I don't think I'll keep Wild Bill or Klingberg (too expensive). My keepers last season were so bad... sigh.

LSL wise I’m good with any date so long as the draft is in the evening, only thing I’d like is it the set it and forget it league is at a different time. Same date is fine just different times.

so this is a good opportunity to ask fellas - when do y'all wanna do the Set it & Regret it draft? it was set to Monday the 30th but I know Teemu can't do those days, so I moved it to Sunday the 29th @ 8:30 EST for now. anyone who can't make that or anyone prefer a different time?

I’m in LSL and Set it & Regret it. Any evenings other than the next couple of Sundays work for me. 29th should be fine unless a combination of rain and on-field success pushes my softball season an extra week.

I'd prefer a bit earlier so I don't miss any of it due to sleep but the 29th works.

Anyone got some leagues with open slots that need filling? I don't mind keeper/normal draft, no $ unless it's like $5.

OK I believe the HHL is full once Diet Crack joins. For the expansion teams probably what I'll do is let them pick keepers from the left over teams. I'm thinking that I'll split up the teams they get to choose from (so they each get to look at 7 rosters).

Still up to 4 spots in the LSL left.

The cost is 20% of their previous cost and they can only be on your roster for three seasons (so effectively kept for two seasons after drafting them). I'll let you and corn (and any other new manager we have) pick unkeepered eligible players from existing rosters (up to 4 players).

I'll have the ineligible list and a list of players available for new managers up this weekend, sorry work has been unusually busy.

Existing Managers: Please get your keepers in as soon as possible so I can create a list for the new players. If you have a question on player eligibility, please let me know.

Ryan McDonagh ($16 -> $20)

Changing my last keeper to Erik Karlsson ($61 -> $74)

Ineligible Keepers:
Ryan Johansen
Mitchell Marner
Cam Talbot
Victor Hedman
Mark Scheifele
Jonathan Huberdeau
Nikita Kucherov
Travis Konecny
Mikko Koivu
Sebastian Aho
Devan Dubnyk
David Pastrnak
Taylor Hall
Nathan MacKinnon
Victor Arvidsson
Matt Murray

For the new teams (corn, teemu, diet), I am going to give you a list of players to choose 4 keepers from. The cost is their listed price + 20% (rounded up) of that price rounded up. So $1>$2 for instance or $21->$25. You can also choose to take less than 4 keepers (anywhere from 0-4). Keep in mind that your budget is $500 minus your keeper costs. To view their cost, please reference this page: https://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/archive/nhl/2018/37343/draftresults -- if the player is not listed there most likely their cost is $1 (unless they had a waiver bid above that number).

none of these guys are listed on my roster in the draft results page, so I am unsure what their salaries were last year, am I just supposed to ctrl+F them in the page and go with whatever is listed on a different roster or are there like in-season FAAB values for these guys or what?

Looks like I can click who I'm keeping on my roster for your review so I'll do that, but I'll post here anyway too. Keeping:
Mat Barzal $2 > $3 - final season of keeper eligibility
Kyle Connor $15 > $18 - first time keeper
Dylan Strome $1 > $2 - first time keeper

Unsure of who I want to keep as my fourth so I'll have to update later. I'm thinking either Troy Terry or Ryan Donato. I think both will get their chances in the top-6 of their respective teams but I'm not sure which one I like more. Donato is my bet to produce more and the Wild are probably a better team and in a position to help him succeed, but I could see Terry getting time on Getzlaf's line and he he was a point-per-game in the AHL last year.

quoting to note I decided to make Donato my 4th keeper $1 > $2 (first time keeper)

If they're not listed then they were a waiver pickup which means they cost $1 last year.

To sign them is my real test

With full no movement clause
yeah I figured it out, I was unsure if drafted players maintained salary even if they were dropped and re-added

I'll have these as keepers please -

Gustav NYQUIST - $1 -> $2
Josh BAILEY - $1 -> $2
William KARLSSON - $2 -> $3
Jonathan DROUIN - $3 -> $5

If my math is right, I should have spent $12 on keepers and have $488 to play with, correct?

Break what must be broken, once for all, that's all, and take the suffering on oneself.

Let's roll with:

Elias Pettersson ($30 > $37)
Leon Draisaitl ($67 > $81)
Jacob Trouba ($10 > $12)
Jakub Vrana ($1 > $2)

Edited to fix one of the initial costs.
