If I'm a promoter and I get someone else's worker who still has the belt then I put them on and they say "This is the championship from the place I used to work and I'm going to put it straight in the... trophy case so I can preserve the important memories and legacy this title has for me" and there's a garbage can there but they carry it past the can and put it in the display space

I'll say, I don't think anyone on the screen has done more damage to more wrestling over time than Michael Cole. Lots of people have been much worse, but Michael Cole makes every match he calls worse, and he's called more matches than almost anyone at this point, so the damage is incalculable.
