That throw was less straight than Julian Cleary.

To clarify: I was talking about the English throw, not the Argentinian one that was called 30 seconds later and was substantially straighter.

Those two passes were miles forward . Certainly more so than the one the was called in Uruguay.

Having had a couple of close friends who were also both raging alcoholics (and terrible ones at that) who lived in Japan for a year, every time they got drunk and caused trouble, it was swept under the carpet. E.g. Once when all the front windows in their apartment were smashed, a “very localised tornado” was suggested as the cause by the police and everyone went happily along with their lives.

I’m guessing a lot of white people being drunken wankers are getting away with an awful lot of poo poo in the name of no bad international press and saving face.

Pretty sure I’m yet to see an English player support their own weight in a ruck, yet not be called for it.
French refs. :one::one::one::one:

No, as an all blacks fan I have absolutely no permanent deep seated issues relating to WC finals matches against france, why do you ask?

The best thing about facing France in the final is that we would avoid a French ref.

A drat shame if that is the case. The IRFB should’ve paid for him to be there the entire time and promoted his poo poo heavily as he makes the sense parts of the game much more accessible for the layman. My wife is now screaming about pods and poo poo during a game thanks to him. 😂

Sadly South Africa are not Ireland and won’t capitulate. For Japan to win they’re going to have to grind it out and have some luck.
