When in doubt, err on the side of Awesome!

I would love it if in the end they realize that infinite punishment for finite sin is inherently hosed up and dismantle the entire system while loudly and directly into the camera stating that anyone who thinks it's a good system is a lovely person.

I thought the Judge was basically God.

The judge was a perfectly neutral arbiter who basically didn't give a poo poo about humanity until team cockroach convinced her to see just how impossible living up to the moral purity the point system demands is for anyone on Earth.

Actual Edit:
Killing a person is a bad thing, regardless of intent or effects. Someone does the killing, negative points; everyone in the command chain, negative points.

I suspect killing someone to save the world, even an imminent threat and not "killing baby Hitler" type actions, will garner negative points.

Which leads to the times when not doing something is undeniably a good thing and should be worth lots of good points. Stanislav Petrov basically prevented nuclear war by ignoring a false alarm. That should have earned him enough good points to get into the good place, but instead was likely worth zero points because not acting with a positive result isn't worth points in the system as we understand it.

Arkhipov never gets the same credit, either.

The fact that there have been multiple "we came this loving close to nuclear Armageddon and only a single level head prevented it" events might be the best evidence for why there should be a Bad Place.

My theory: The Judge (who claims to be neutral in all things but works to serve a system that uses infinite torture to punish finite sin and is therefore just as bad as Sean) will rule that the experiment failed. This would be the doom for all humanity, but at the last minute Bad Janet, who will have read Michael and Janet's book, will Voltron together with Janet, forming a Mega-Janet that will overturn the entire system.

The judge mentioned a thing that could end all wars while digging through her purse. The immortals don't give a gently caress about humanity.

Disco Janet implies a Disco Place. My wild rear end guess is that Mindy was going to end up in the Disco Place until the Medium Place was decided on.
