I would enjoy it if the group fail on improving the test subjects but end up improving the bad guys instead through the antagonist role.

I know it's part of the endless shaking things up but it feels emptier without him. I hope he gets looped back in soon.

I wonder if playing Good Janet for bad reasons will become a habit and eventually Bad Janet will be Neutral Janet. The experiment itself fails miserably but team cockroach win because Glenn and BJ are no longer actually evil.

Jason is pretty much governed by his impulses. There is no question that he is "not smart" but a lot of it comes from the fact he is off in his own head and doesn't pay attention. When he does try, he's able to put things together ok. He's still kind of unrestrained Id and a wild card though.

Simone is proof that even good people, with no threat of consequence, become a bit lovely. She was repeatedly told the people around her were actual people and had feelings but she did not give a hint of a poo poo until Chidi put his finger in her food.

I dunno, Jason was in many respects a visionary. His vision was small and basic but it was his own. He went first because he was the only one who was authentically happy with himself in the first place (ignorance is bliss, if you must) so he had less to work through. He wasn't very good with actual things and really hazy on the deta but he was pretty good with people (and not a person Janet) and in touch with the emotional stuff a lot. He hot too.
