There were some good jokes this ep but man it looked like poo poo. What’s with all the weird green screened shots and that wide shot with E&T?

Is it me or is this season, while still good, the weakest of all?

It's the last season of Battlestar Gallactica. It's fun to create writing challenges for yourself but eventually you write yourself into corners where things don't make much sense.

Or maybe there's just not enough Chidi.

That's not fair. When I play Grand Theft Auto, the game tells me that those are real people with feelings, but I'm not being a bad person when I drive down a crowded sidewalk. She thought it was just a very realistic videogame

And the show sort of gets into this problem when they go to reboot Janet / Derek.

This season feels like it is easily the worst one so far. It’s so loving slow.

Seasons 1 & 2 are incredible.
Season 3 is good enough.
Season 4 is slow and boring.

I agree but this most recent episode was pretty good and def best of the season.

And then three minutes later they're sitting around a pool and Jason is shirtless and also jacked for some reason.

Gotta stay limber when you're wrestling with the Big C.

That was the closest I've ever come to caring as much about Chidi and Eleanor's relationship as the show does.

Same, but man I loved Jason's advice speech.

Watching all of Forever between last week's episode and the finale might have been a mistake. Different beasts and all that, but Maya Rudolph is compelling as gently caress as June, and seeing her as The Judge again afterwards felt, for lack of a better word, kind of blasphemous.

Yeah, tbh she overacts here as if she’s still on SNL playing to the cheap seats. Drags down every scene she’s in on TGP. It’s really weird because as you say she’s good elsewhere.
