i like to order stuff from around the world and then i like to sniff the packaging to try and get a whiff of what their country smells like, but so far i have only ordered stuff from safe third world countries like germany, uk and america. i have a package coming from china for the first time and i desperately want to sniff it it keeps me up at night to imagine the pugnant smells coming from that package already and the tracking website shows that its almost here is it safe to sniff a package from china

If you get bootleg transforming robot toys from Sirtoys, the box invariably smells like a fishing harbor. If you time it -just- right, the order will get boxed up and sent out, then will sit in a China Post processing facility for the entirety of the two month long Chinese new year. The box will then smell like a fishing harbor and gun powder. The inside of the box usually smells like those really cheap temple incense.

I voted Yes and now I will tell you a true story about a package from China I ordered some cheap furniture once, and in the box was a leather keychain with a bunch of keys, including one that was clearly a motorcycle/scooter key. Obviously it fell out of some factory worker guys pocket. This leather keychain smelled, ridiculously good. A mix of leather, spices, aftershave, I don't know what. It turned me gay. (I don't know where it is these days I also lost it)

i snifft it and it smelled like minerals when i was a kid i visited a old silver mine turned museum and i snifft it (ofc) the package smelled like that thank you everyone this was a huge success

I went to China and asked a man if they had cool anime like Japan. He took me to a secret room with a single lightbulb and we stared at a wall with paint splatters and scratches and we stared while the bulb swung slowly in a circle. I took a taxi to the airport later. His family called a white police van for him. Maybe the box will smell like soy sauce.
