I’ve been doing the four a week bounties for the chalice and have it mostly unlocked. the catalyst for izanagi (a fairly large bump in 4x honed damage) is locked behind doing a heroic menagerie after you've fully upgraded the cup. heroic menagerie isn't match made so your ability to scrounge up 5 other people to complete one is going to be the final hurdle on whether or not its worth it.
