One of their staff members, on recording, and in the presence of her child, saying she had contemplated driving off a cliff with said child. Questions about their spending of funds. For the longest time not having any adults with autism in leadership roles. On and on. They have had adult autistic people in leadership positions. It's just that every single one has ended up leaving the organization, disavowing it, and stating on the record that they were treated more as a mascot and a talisman to use to try and ward off criticism of the organization's actions and general hostility towards autistic people who aren't cute kids or trying to act neurotypical. Combined with everything else, it's a whole parade of red flags.
