WARNING:I AM A FASCIST PIECE OF SHIT.
Police beatings get me hard
When it's really busy (Marmotte cyclo for example) the D1091 turn into a giant parking, just endless rows of cars at the side of the road. This is normally allowed, but I'm not sure what the policy is on a TdF stage.

We had not left it yet, but when I would wake in the night, I would lie, listening, homesick for it already.

I'm doing the etape this year so can at least let you know where the finish line carpark is, I guess that might be used again for the race. Unfortunately have to leave before the stage is raved.

Yates did that godlike TT and has faked being poo poo to fool the Slovenians into a false sense of security

My theory is that he's subconsciously compensating for that terrible mugshot they're using when the announcers talk about his heart rate.

For the Dutch speakers, what kind of accent does Arensman have?
In this interview following his podium for stage 16, he sounds really rounded out, like a country accent to English ears.

this is why close GC races can be incredibly boring and why it's a good idea to have a TT to spread it out a bit

I know GT organizers still have PTSD when doped-rear end Froome would win MTFs over the climbers and then beat them by two minutes in the ITT but imagine (assuming he didn't get covid) this race except with Almeida getting a minute in a TT before the mountain stages

If Yates hadn't died the race would have been much more exciting, it would have forced Carapaz to attack a lot more
