Newbie question after reading some of the olympic thread posts. I remember there was a stage at the end of the first week of the Tour where Wout van Aert lost like 20 minutes in the GC. Would he have maybe done that on purpose to get some freedom to win stages or was it just a bad day?

Quick question before the Tour: In terms of pro sports how popular is cycling in Europe? I’m assuming football is far and away #1 but are there countries where cycling is the #2 or 3 sport? If someone could make an analogy to American pro sports that would be great.

Ease up, no disrespect intended. This has been the most exciting race I’ve seen, and the two of them are both absolute champions. Clearly pogacar is not ill. That was trying to be a “hmm no positive tests before the Superbowl lol” but for uci/the race organizers.

You’re in luck because Paris-Roubaux Femmes and La Vuelta Feminina were both great races this year so watch those replays. Voxwomen is a site that only covers women’s cycling. Just like founder Anthony McCrossan it’s solid but dry. And then posters here don’t like them because they’re dicks, but Lantern Rouge does the same YouTube recaps for the women’s races as the men.
